: I recently moved down to Southern California and was wondering what areas in Southern California are still "good" in the sense that the homes are still "affordable" and in a decent area. I just moved away from an area that is about 40% the amount we paid in S. Cal. Appreciate any ideas (San Bernandino? Inland?)

You will be in your car a lot so focus on areas close to home - there are deals to be found everywhere, but it takes a lot of work.
