Rock collector...In Reply to: Newbie, where do I start? posted by K.D. on February 09, 2004 at 8:23 PM : Hi Ward, : Have been lurking for a few weeks.....so much information. It's all Greek to me....where do I start? I spend my time between Las Vegas and Los Angeles, so If you have any insight to the Vegas foreclosure market it would be appreciated... : I take it you aren't a big fan of all of these foreclosue listing sites? : Thanks in advance... K.D., Just go to the top of our discussion board and type the keyword "newbie" in the search window and hit the search button. I just did it and got 108 results after the search went through 8,425 documents. That should give you a good start. Right now, I’d be a little leery of buying at the top of the Vegas market since it’s so sensitive to gambling tourism. That tourism will drop like a rock with the occurrence of another terrorist attack anywhere in the U.S. since no one will want to travel far, especially by air. Go over there then if you’re a rock collector. I don’t know anyone who is a fan of freebie foreclosure leads. It’s really like your Mom must have told you, “You get what you pay for!” Hope this helps. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
