EIN application....

: When filling out the IRS application to get an EIN for a trust, it asks for the grantor's SS#. Should the beneficiaries or the Trustee fill that out? If the answer is the Beneficiaries, what if there are multiple beneficiaries? If the answer is the Trustee, will the Trustee have any liability regarding the EIN?

We use the trustor's social and have suffered no untoward consequences.
