Next step for a self-financing Lienholder

Posted by craig on November 20, 2001 at 11:11 PM

Several years ago I sold (and self-financed) 2 properties of land...each with a Deed of Trust (with Trustee named) and secured by a Lien, here in Texas.

The purchasers have defaulted on multiple counts, including: (1) nonpayment of property taxes (2) deliquent principal and interest payments (3) plus these 2 brothers combined their separately deeded properties into one without my permission.

At this point I would like to simply re-possess the property without forclosure-- is this possible?
