: The property is in california. If I purchased a 2nd trust deed at the 10am sale and the 1st trust deed went to sale at 1:30pm would any overbid proceeds from the 1st trust deed go to me?

Dave,

As the winning bidder at the 10:00 AM trustee's sale of the 2nd TD, you'd be the new owner of property and the 2nd would have extinguished itself.

At the following 1:30 trustee's sale of the 1st TD you'd be the new owner and thus entitled to any potential overbid proceeds emanating from the sale.

Hope this helps.
