Need advice: should I try to sell days before auction?

Posted by Robin on January 25, 2004 at 4:11 PM

Well, my house is scheduled to go to foreclosure auction on Thurs. (it is sun afternoon as I post this).

I have been sooooo stressed and worried that I have not been able to function in a reasonable business manner, and have just been, well, depressed and not taking action.

I have a MILLION "can we buy your house before foreclosure" fliers sent to me.

Should I just get on the phone tomorrow morning and call a bunch of them......tell them to come see and make an offer and try to get a sale made?

Or is it just too late????

Also, if it goes to auction, is the vacation notice usually days or weeks after the auction? (not looking for exact legal time periods...just a standard...).

I am in Oregon.
