Not So SimpleIn Reply to: Not so bad this time... posted by Ward-CA- on January 17, 2004 at 7:44 AM Hello Ward The Insurance Company is saying the since the policy lapsed, a completely NEW policy is needed. They are wanting to use a different carrier as well. Your way sounds correct (at least in theory) - why then is the Insurance agent going a different route? What can we do to simplify the matter? Additionally, who regulates these companies? I firmly believe he violated ethical procedures in telling us that the policy was paid when it in fact was not. Then to not even call but let us find out on our own that the policy was not in effect left us open to loss - he had verbally promised to call should the policy lapse. I dont want to loose sight of the big picture, but this guy put is in an awkward position and the resolution is "not so simple" Thank you. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
