Working with Renters.?.?hello we have a resident who has given a 30 day notice - now when rent is due, they remitted only a portion of the rent and advised to use the security deposit as the rest this is of course contrary to the rental agereement how would people hanlde this? - serve a 3 day notice? then go for a UD? is this too harsh? - granted it is "by the book" so to speak, but is it in our best inerest? worth the efforts? will it create hostilities? if they leave with no deposit left and there are damages, we still have small claims ... what do people think? thank you Follow Ups:
