Re: Investment prop ins - problemIn Reply to: Rental property insurance posted by Ward-CA- on January 01, 2004 at 7:30 PM
: : Investors, : Fader, : Visit your local apartment owners association and ask them for a copy of their monthly member magazine. If it's anything like ours here in San Diego it will contain ads for companies specializing in providing services such as insurance to non-owner occupied properties. You might also visit your local real estate investment club and inquire there for any leads. : Hope this helps. I had the same problem when i started investing over 1 yr ago in Delaware. There is no real estate investment club due to nature of real estate market here. I tried contacting real estate agents down at the beaches to ask for insurance companies who deal with providing ins for vacation/summer homes. Got a few numbers and names of companies, but all in vain. They were just not very helpful or just had policy of not giving ins to investment props which have no occupants. No occupants is the important thing...if I had renters than I would be fine. But if I buy, fix & sell then where do i go? This is still an unanswered question for me. If someone knows of some comp's plz post some names here so I can contact them. Thanks. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
