: Ward, I was reading previous posts, and one said that filing bankruptcy only temporarily stops a foreclosure. I thought that if you file a chapter 13, it stops a foreclosure permanently. ===================== Mindy, Most of the time we only need to employ the help of a bankruptcy to buy the owner more time to do a deal with us before the auction sale.
