: Hi Uncle Ward,
: I own two rentals in Nevada and one in Arizona. Can one do an AITD as security on a private loan using properties that are in different states? Or would I have to do a TD and Note for each property and record them in their respective counties? Thanks in advance. Hope that you and your family have a wonderful holiday season. Best, Alfred

Alfred,

For simplicity's sake I'd deal with a TD and Note for each property and record them in their respective counties.
