: Ward,
: I am selling a house with some owner financing. I am not using an escrow company for the transaction. Can I be the Trustee and the Beneficiary of the Deed of Trust? if not, can my wife be the Trustee and I will be the Beneficiary?

: Thanks,
: Pinny.
==================

Pinny,

If you, as the seller of a house, carry back a trust deed and promissory note for part of your sales price, you can be both the trustee and beneficiary of the trust deed.
