Re: They Sold My Condo by Mistake! In Reply to: They Sold My Condo by Mistake! posted by Alexis (CA) on December 04, 2003 at 2:28 PM Alexis, I have some ideas. If it is the Title company's mistake, then they should find a way to remove it inmediately or face your lawyer, who will not only clear the title but also charge them lawyers fees (your lawyer fees). But if it is not the title companies mistake, and rather someone trying to claud your title on pourpose, then find them and tell them to remove it, and if tey don't the same scenario will take place with your attorney. : I happened to research my condo public records. I noticed a grant deed was filed, 6 months ago, with my APN and legal description. The grantor is a previous owner who lived in my complex. Apparently, the title company made a mistake on the APN and legal description. : I just called the title company and they said they will get back to me. I am concerned I have a clouded title now. What should I ask the title company to do? Have the parties deed the property back to me? Provide a new title report with clean title for me? Anything else I should do?
