: Will a trust prevent an abstract of judgment from sticking to the title of a property if the owner is recorded like this:
: "Judgment Creditor, trustee of the Creditor Family trust" ?

=================
Yes, it has for me in the past. IRS once recorded a tax lien against me for about two or three years. During that time I took a title in my name as trustee of several trusts with nary a problem in reselling them.

Later, when I found out about the lien, I protested and IRS recorded a full release which nullified the lien.

Since that time I've shied away from being my own trustee for privacy's sake. And when I act as trustee for others I use my LLC as the trustee.

Hope this helps.
