Title Co's Job.?.?

Posted by Lughead on November 12, 2003 at 9:50 PM

hello

is it normal for a title co to request loan numbers and borrowers name on a property where we took title subject to exixting financing?

seems all that info is clearly spelled out in the deed of trust

additionally - this place wants every last bit of documentation regarding our corp (which holds title) - this is new to us as no other title co in our area has ever needed so much information - and we wwould prefer not to give out any more info than necessary - what experiences have others had and any suggestions?

is there something for a corp that is the equivalent to a cert of trust for a THT to avoid giving out the 'guts' of the corp?

thanks you
