Use the Addendum form..In Reply to: Purchase Agreement posted by Camille Calenda on November 07, 2003 at 4:56 PM : Hi Ward-- : Would you consider adding an area/sentence in your purchase agreement that charges sellers a cancellation fee if they back out of a transaction? I didn't see this on the agreement but I just had it happen. The seller signed all the paperwork and I opened escrow and then he gave me the run around for a couple of months and finally said he decided not to sell. My escrow agent was not too happy and I wasn't either. What can I do to deter Sellers from doing this that is in writing? : Thanks!
