[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ The Forum Board ] [ FAQ ] bankrupcy.foreclosure Posted by lynn on November 09, 2003 at 11:59 AM If Im in foreclosure, and because of other irs issues and loss of work decided to file chapeter 7 with out a attorney to help me save my home.I then recieved a notice from courts that the hard money lender was asking for a release of stay.I attended the hearing and the automatic stay was entered. I then hired a attorney who said that i had too much equity in my homew and I now had a salary that warrented me doing a so we filed a motion to convert to a 13 My attorney then said that i needed a chapter 11 and she doesnt do them . I ran and got the signed motion to convert to a 13 from the judge before the trusteee sale thinking my home was protected by that law. In 3 days I had a notice to quit by the new owner.they sold my house they would come over 3 4 times a day and knock on my door scared my son 6 am 7 am I now recieved on my doorstep notice that im being suied for eviction. I cant find a lawyer who wont take this for less than 10,000.00 I have lived and made my mortage m\payments for 7 yrs. having to get a hard money loan to save me 7 months ago is now Biting me in the !@#@ .
