: Hey guys. I'm actually 19 years old and am relatively new to the whole foreclosure process. I've heard there's some great ways to make cash through this sort of investing. Can anyone give a new guy some advice about where a good place on the internet to look for foreclosures would be? It's ok if it's not free, If it's a good search engine, then it'd be worth the money, now wouldn't it? Also, any other advice would be truly appreciated. Thanks All.

I'm new to this too, First thing I did was visit as many web sites as I could
and then I went out and bought a few books on the subject.
I am a little nervous about getting started in the next week
or two in terms of mailing to homeowners and taking ads out.
I have pretty much structured my plan out as if I were
launching a business and studying as much as I can.
I plan on limiting myself to a particular strategy and
discipline in the beginning. Heck, I've launched half a billion
dollar companies for people, I think I can manage this. I figure it can't hurt to meet people
facing foreclosures and try and bail them out. I will make cash
offers to them with closings within 7-10 days. This appears to
be the cleanest method for me in the beginning. I will try and
discipline myself to only buy at 70% market value.

I did read an article on here about Title searches and how they
aren't a guarantee that a property doesnt have other liens which
I am now researching about.

Almost read to go, subscribed to all my local newspapers, found a title
company, found a lawyer, working on financing right now, got my
letterhead and stationary/biz cards, got my listings, got a contractor,
got an inspector...missing anything?
