No apparent difference in the lender's reaction

: Ward, the trustee has told me there has been a second bankruptcy by the mortgagor. I will be refunded, and the sale reversed.

: I know from the archives, it will take a minimum of a month to get the automatic stay lifted. (Then add in the N.C. notice requirements, and it would be more like 7-8 weeks for the next auction date.) I'm weighing whether to follow this deal through PACER and wait around, or keep fishing.

: Do you think that lenders try any harder/quicker to get relief from automatic stay, when they have already done it once before? (Or, when a sale has taken place previously, and they were almost paid off?)

Sean,

I haven't noticed any difference in the lenders response to a bankruptcy filing. It seems to lme that they automatically up their attorney and away they go again.
