: AFTER THE REDEMPTION PERIOD IS OVER. WHAT ARE THE NEXT TURN OF EVENTS THAT TAKE PLACE? DO THEY HAVE TO TAKE ME TO COURT TO EVICT ME? I LIVE IN MACOMB COUNTY MICHIGAN. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.
==========

Yes, after serving you with a notice to vacate, the new owners would have to initiate an eviction action against if you don't move out.

You may not want to provoke an eviction action since it will show against your credit record and cause property owners to avoid renting to you.
