Renting/buying a house that is being Foreclosed

Posted by Steven on October 14, 2003 at 6:24 PM

Me and my wife have been renting a house for the last several months. We decided back in June that we would try to buy it. Everything was going well. We were approved for the loan. and it get's down till two days before closing. And the buyers notified usthat the house was being foreclosed.
What do we do? We just have a notice placed on the door tonight.
We Still want to buy the house. I just don't want to end up getting evicted.

Thank you in advance,
Steve

P.S. What makes this especially stressfull is that I am currently in Iraq, not scheduled to return until April 2004.
