Good News For Foreclosure BuyerIn Reply to: What is the worst that could happen? posted by James-CA on October 07, 2003 at 4:01 PM That super-senior foreclosing trust deed, is likely going to wipe off all existing liens and judgements. It's also been payed down for quite a while, so the remaining balance will be low. I try to keep an eye out for this situation in the notices of sale. I just can't believe the current owner gets off scott free. He still assumed the trust deed-- and I'll betch'a the lenders find a way to attach the foreclosure to his credit.
