: I owned a proprty under a Land Trust. I would like to replace the Trustee.
: What type of document I need to record (in California)in order to replace the Trustee to the Land Trust?

: Thanks,
: Pinny.
====================

Pinny,

You'd use a grant deed. The grantor would be your present trustee and the grantee would be your successor trustee.

Here's an example where your present trustee is Gray Davis and you want to change to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Gray Davis, Trustee of the Zoom Zoom Trust, dated 09-01-03
grants to
Arnold Schwarzenegger, Successor Trustee of the Zoom Zoom Trust, dated 09-01-03

The deed would be signed by Gray Davis.
