Use the THT without the need to involve the state.

: I am in CA. I am in the process of setting up my Corp and only have a DBA (sole proprietor) at the time.

: I am buying an empty lot from somone for a nominal fee.
: On the deed can I just put (not real co name):

: hereby GRANT(S)to

: Homebuyers

: or

: Homebuyers, a California Company

: with out putting my name on the deed? I don't want my name showing on the deed. Or what other ways can I write the deed up?

Alan,

Don’t put the title of the property into a Corp you haven’t formed yet! In that situation put it into a THT (title holding trust) that doesn’t require to be filed, registered or recorded anywhere with the state.

For example, if you don’t want to be your own trustee then hire me to be your trustee and at that point have the property deeded to “Financial Fitness, LLC, as Trustee of the Homebuyers Trust, dated 9-11-03”.

We can take care of any and all other trust paperwork later, in private, without the requirement of the state’s involvement, notice or intervention.

Hope this helps.
