Show off your auctioneer's receipt instead..In Reply to: how to stop the senior trustee sale after i purchase the property in a junior trustee sale posted by bh1240 on September 10, 2003 at 9:45 PM : Ward,I bought a property in a junior trustee sale today. I understand the first loan is also defaulted and the trustee sale is set on Sept 18. I contacted the bank of first lien holder. Although they agree to let me reinstate the loan or payoff the loan if i can fax them the recorded deed before the trustee sale, they refuse to postpone the sale saying it is their policy. I am not sure if i can get the deed recorded within 7 days. I would be appreciated if you give me some suggestions to handle this situation. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I have been successful in getting the senior lienor to accept the auctioneer's receipt as a substitute for the recorded trustee's deed when time was short. Hope this helps.
