entities and capitol gains

Posted by zachary on September 10, 2003 at 6:36 AM

this is a stupid questions...

ok, I know I now the answer to this one but my brain is fried!!!

Does an S corp pay capitol gains tax, or when it flows thru to my 1040 do I pay capitol gains??

if not is it possible to buy a property in your personal name then flip it to your corp (assignment of beni. interest), then re-sell and not have to pay the capitol gains??

the reason why I ask: Will close on the one I'm working on next week, will take longer to get INC'd than taht but Ican get INC'd before I sell it...

Would be great to skip the 3.3% withholding and capitol gains...

thanks!!
