Use PACER to figure out a bankruptcy case..In Reply to: Postponements due to BK... posted by 2nd Fred on September 08, 2003 at 6:37 PM
: Hi Ward, : How long can this go on? Is this all the same BK? I thought if you file BK you only have about a month to postpone a sale. How does this owner keep it going? : As a side note, I approached the owner back in May about an equity purchase and I got about two words out of my mouth and had the door slammed shut in my face. Now after all these postponements I think this owner knows how to play the game. But what are the rules? : Thanks, =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Fred, To better understand what's going on with successive bankruptcies involving the same property you'd have to examine the debtors' bankruptcy file. So if you haven't joined PACER yet, now is an ideal time to do so. Joining is free. You only pay for examining the files in the petitioner's docket. And the fees that are charged are really modest. You can get to PACER's web site by clicking on the link below. Hope this helps.
