Promise of a token of appreciation...In Reply to: Dealing with Extremely Flakey People posted by Greg on August 31, 2003 at 6:49 PM : I'm sure this goes with the business, but if I have made an appointment to either visit an owner, or call him at a given time, odds are about 80% he/she won't show, won't answer. The word "appointment" is a joke. No doubt, that's why they're in foreclosure. : Any pointers from anyone on how to improve these odds? : Greg -=-=-=-=-=-=- Greg, Perhaps, at the time the appointment is made, you could indicate that you're bringing them a gift. A token of your appreciation for them meeting with you. Maybe it's a gift certificate at the Outback Restaurant, or a VHS tape on foreclosure, or some other tribute for conferring with you.
