Re: County Recorder's Office is the best source. In Reply to: County Recorder's Office is the best source. posted by Ward-CA- on August 28, 2003 at 7:06 AM Thanks Ward! The instrument #, that's the one that starts 2000-########## right. That is available online. Too bad we don't live in Maricopa County. That's awesome. Think SD will ever do that? : : : : Also, I noticed the Daily Transcipt publishes Trustee Sales. Do any other publications do this on the web? : -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- : Ken, : I don't know where you can access a facsimile of an NOD (notice of default) on line. You can get reports or listings of them from County Records Service in town and also from County Records Research out of Huntington Beach, but not an image of the actual NOD. : For that you'd have to go to the San Diego County Recorder's office in the county administrative building downtown. : Or, alternatively you could ask the Customer Service Dept. of your favorite local title company to fax you the particular NOD you're interested in?for free. The only hitch is that you'd have to give them the recorder's instrument number for them to find the particular NOD you want.
