Gene, it sounds like you're quite creative. So, let me offer my two bits of advice. Often times, the question that should accompany a question like, "Can I do this?" is the question, "Should I do this?".

Now, I'm not saying you shouldn't do what you described above. And as Ward has already replied, there is no law which says you can't. I just encourage you to always consider whether you "should" as well as whether you "could". Not only will you always be the winner for doing so, you won't ever lose a deal or friend that's good for you ... or gain one that isn't good for you.

In the words of the world's greatest moral teacher, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." When a person does this they really are helping themselves.
