: Just getting my feet wet.... : Also, is it acceptable business conduct to call the attorney office the day before the auction to confirm that it is still taking place? : Once an auction is scheduled does the properly legally have to be auctioned, or can you contact the law firm or bank with offers? : Sorry for my inexperience, any help would be appreciated. Kim, My suggestion, your not ready to buy at actions! You need to learn the concept of foreclosure first, understand the title practice of the state, and know how to spot a good deal, as well as know what to do with the property once you have it. I suggest you consider talking some courses offered on this site (www.foreclosureforum.com), this will get you ready. good luck
