Re: Where can I file an eviction? In Reply to: Re: Where can I file an eviction? posted by Jk on August 05, 2003 at 2:14 PM : : I bought a house two weeks ago from Montgomery county, PA sheriff sale. The ex-owner still lives there. I sent a certified letter to him and called him and left a message in his voice mail. I also stoped by there and left a note in the mail box. So far no response from him. I want to file a eviction. But where can I file it? I called the county court office and was told I should go to the district court offic. But when I called the district court office I was told I should contact the county court office. Just got confused. Any help will be really appreciated. : : Thank you. : : bob : For your first eviction, you should use an eviction attorney or service. Pay close attention to everything they do and read a book on evictions and you should be ready to "do-it-yourself" the next time around. Hi JK, Thanks for replying my question. Actually this is my second eviction. I filed an eviction in a different local district court for a different property I bought from Sheriff sale a month ago. The form of Landlord and Tenant Complaint was used. I wonder why this district court refused me. I guess the judge may not have such experience. Bob
