Using Land Trust when there's an owner carryback.

: When conveying title using a land trust, how do you keep your name out of the public record when the seller is carrying a note/mortgage in the amount you owe them? My name or my company's name will appear in the as the trustor in the grantor/grantee index. No?

When the conveyed land trust is yours you have it give the previous owners the carryback note and trust deed. In my case my designated trustee will be signing the trust deed to them, not me.
