Buyer's representatives...

: Is there an effective way to have an employee or other represent me at Trustee Sales so that I do not have to attend personally. It appears as though this is a common practice at the LA sale sites. Will the auctioneer accept Checks that are payable to a company name. Thank you.
====================

You should have a written agreement between your representative and yourself as to the ownership of the money, no right of offset,
etc. concerning having them act in your behalf at the foreclosure auctions.

Checks have to be made payable either to the trustee or to the endorser of the checks. If your runner is going to bid for you the checks should be made payable to her or to the trustee.
