Re: Forms....In Reply to: Forms.... posted by Lugheadom on June 26, 2003 at 11:03 PM : hi rick and ward : thanks for the inputs : we would gladly use a CAR form except these guys treat it like its gold...since we are not a member of the 'good ol boys club' we dont have access to these forms : in fact we once got chased out of the local Board office trying to buy forms!! : kind of a catch 22 : at least if we wrote it on a banana peel as ward suggested - when they drop the ball maybe they would slip and fall on their rump!... : Lughead ________________________ Lughead, In my (limited) experience, there are good Realtors and bad Realtors, just like there are good investors and bad investors. The good Realtors have been extremely helpful. Where I live, the Orange County Board of Realtors will let an unlicensed person such as me become an "Associate Member" for $150 (I believe). Once I was an Associate Member, I was allowed to purchase CAR forms by the bucket load, just like any licensed Realtor. Will your local Board of Realtors let you do this? The more familiar you are with the CAR Forms, the easier it is to be creative in the Addendum, which is a key technique for dealing with a bad Realtor such as the one currently in your way. Some times in this business, you have to satisfy idiots. Bruce Norris has said that most times when he had been feeling like he was working way too hard, he realized later that he actually had been on the verge of making a lot of money.
