Ever heard of "Equity Rescue"?

Posted by Troy on September 23, 2001 at 10:55 PM

Ward, are you familiar with a program called Equity Rescue? It seems to be a multi-faceted real estate investment/development opportunity for owner, investor, and sales associate alike.

They pitch the program at their website trying to wet your appetite by claiming they have a "whole new way of doing real estate where everybody wins". They never really tell you what it is they do and want you to pay $195 and travel to Northern Cal in order to "get the goods". Their approach obviously makes me skeptical.

Besides selling a $195 seminar, it sounds like a company trying to raise capital and recruit sales associates to find and qualify pre-foreclosure opportunities to offer an owner a lease option arrangement. I suppose they would tell the owner he can avoid being foreclosed upon and still end up with his home a few years down the road. But, that's just a guess.

Have you ever heard of the program? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
