Re: Ever heard of "Equity Rescue"?In Reply to: Re: Ever heard of posted by Troy on November 29, 2001 at 1:25 AM : : I did visit the site. They do tell you what they do Jim V., they just don't tell you how they do it. That must be why you are so skeptical. You sure do guess and suppose a lot. You know nothing about it yet you have seemd to have it figured out. : ==================================== : Bill, I believe you have replied to the wrong person. It seems as though you meant to reply to Jim V, but instead you have replied to Troy. Just thought you would like to know. : Second, you'll notice that both Jim V. and myself are not critical of what we don't know. In my original post I simply mentioned Equity Rescue's "approach" made me skeptical. However, I was still interested in what Equity Rescue was all about. Jim V. only echoed my sentiments. : Lastly, if you happen to travel to Northern CA. and spend the $195 to learn "how" Equity Rescue does what they explain in very general terms on their website, then I would be happy to hear your opinion about the program ... and somebody's opinion about the program itself is all I was really after in the first place. It seems all you've done here is to be critical of people you thought were being critical ... and you were not only wrong to assume that we were being critical, but in the process you have been hypocritical yourself.
" They pitch the program at their website trying to wet your appetite by claiming they have a "whole new way of doing real estate where everybody wins". They never really tell you what it is they do and want you to pay $195 and travel to Northern Cal in order to "get the goods". Their approach obviously makes me skeptical. Besides selling a $195 seminar, it sounds like a company trying to raise capital and recruit sales associates to find and qualify pre-foreclosure opportunities to offer an owner a lease option arrangement. I suppose they would tell the owner he can avoid being foreclosed upon and still end up with his home a few years down the road. But, that's just a guess."
2) Then he takes a "guess" at how it works. He is entitled to his opinion. You say I'm hypocritcal? I suppose I would be true only if I didn't know anything the program. But I do. More than Jim V does. Enough to know his guess happened to be wrong. Let's see, the guy paints a poor picture of the seminar/program without knowing how it works and it isn't considered a "criticism". Well I'll just leave it at that. Don't bother asking me what I know.
