: Have an oppurtunity to relocate to Florida. Tried to sell home but nothing yet. Relo date is 30 June 2003. Can't afford to pay for two households. Property has two mortgages and a balloon after 15 years. Is a deed in lieu possible with a 2nd mortgage ? Need an answer fast.

sure its possible - but the lender must be willing to take it 'back'

some factors they would consider are other debts against the property - junior note, liens, etc
