RE License a mixed blessing

All the knowledge you gain about RE transactions, the data you have access to for comps, the relationships with other sales people and leads to buyers is a good thing.

The fact that you must announce to any owner in preforeclosure that you are RE licensed, and that you will be held to a higher standard of responsibility, may be a problem.

Posts I have seen from RE people that dabble in both worlds seems to indicate they do it 80/20. Either mostly they're RE men that dabble in investment property, or investors that list houses as a favor. Kinda hard to mix evenly.
