Finding judicial foreclosures of real estate.In Reply to: Sheriff/Marshal sales posted by John-CA on April 15, 2003 at 4:14 PM : Hi Ward : I was looking into Sheriff or Marshal sales here in OC and, using the Sheriff's name, found some docs at the recorder's office online. Most are "notice of levy" and "nt of attachment": : 1) What are these docs? : I tried looking for a county "Marshal" to no avail.... : John M. =========== John, #1. The Notice of Levy is the recorded document that tells you about the pending judicial foreclosure of real property. #2. The Notice of Levy is all you need.
