Proof of intent to move...

: How does one demonstrate that it was your intention to move in? What about someone that regularly moves into houses while fixing them? (Hard to imagine a family doing that, but I have heard of singles or couples that are always "on the move")

In this area one's motives are best shown by their actions. Did they change their mailing address to the new house, change their utilities, change their address with their bank? Did they change their driver's license, voter registration? Switch their kids school, etc.

I think that people that are "always on the move" would qualify as exempt from the requirement of Section 1695.
