I don't think domania.com is any good. It has gaps in some zip codes, the data is several months behind, and it picks comps miles away from the subject property.

Comp-ing involves more than price and size, and that's what's weighted heavily in these freebie websites. I'd rather comp a corner lot (if possible) with other corners, or a property next to a RR with other tracksiders.

I agree with Ward. You get what you pay for, and you need current data.
