Go again a few more times...In Reply to: Re: Go through the net equity worksheet... posted by Leela on April 13, 2003 at 10:40 AM : Hi Ward, : I went to the county recorder's office and figured out how to use everything, but was confused by the order of documents and liens. I'm not sure what they all mean. I may break down and take your class. I don't want to bid money and find out I have to pay the first still and be up the creek. But at least I'll have some experience when I call you. : Leela =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Leela, I’m glad to hear you went through the experience of visiting your recorder’s office and tried to make some sense of what they have and how to get at it in an organized way. I can imagine that if you made a few more trips there, you’d feel a lot more confident about your ability to research the title record of just about any property in your area in a fairly rapid manner. You might even be able to escape the need for our training if you find out the answer to the following question: How do you when you’ve gone back far enough, in searching the title record of a particular property? Once you know that all you have to add to your researching skills is the structure of CA’s foreclosure laws and procedures and you’ll be competent enough to tackle foreclosure investing as a pro, without the fear and uncertainty of an amateur. Keep up the good work.
