A little surprised at that answerIn Reply to: Let'em practice while you make money... posted by Ward-CA- on April 10, 2003 at 11:11 PM I figured you'd say something like "The chilling effect of lawyers probably discourages competition for buyouts, and that is a good thing." There are definately players in this market, I see their "I buy houses" signs on telephone poles all around here. I suppose a half-step when a you smell a deal is close, could be to just buy a copy of Nolo's bankrupcy book, highlight the relevant pages, leave it there and encourage them to act.
