None post bankruptcy protection available..In Reply to: post BK Protection posted by Nvestor on April 10, 2003 at 3:53 PM : Hey Ward, : For someone who filed for BK protection and had it discharged, what does that to to the mortgage delinquency?.. I ask because it looks like, per the trustee, that a particular property is still going to sale.. the bk was a CH 7. Thanks =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= A bankruptcy doesn't discharge a secured lien (like a mortgage). So once the debtor is not protected by the bankruptcy court the foreclosure will resume from where it was stopped and proceed on until it finally goes to sale.
