Don't do anything you wouldn't be proud of...In Reply to: Job opportunity posted by Brad (CA) on April 09, 2003 at 6:22 PM
: Hey everyone, need some advice. : If I get/accept this position can I use the information I obtain from home owners in default for my personal gain? : So for example I call a lady here in SD who is 90days back, she tells me she isnt going to be able to make the payments and that she's already moving. I capitalize on this and make 10k. Is this ok? : : Thanks all, =•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•=•= Brad, No, it is unethical and improper to use personal information of others, garnered in the course of your employment, for your own personal gain. Such activity will eventually get back to your employer because of complaints made by the people themselves or by fellow employees who know what you’re doing. Don’t risk the censure, embarrassment, etc. that will result. Don’t ever do anything that you wouldn’t be proud of. Follow Ups: Post a Followup:
