Lender, of course.In Reply to: Paying off Loan in a Preforeclosure posted by Danny on December 17, 2002 at 12:25 AM : When you deal with the Owner in a Preforeclosure sale, after completing all necessary forms and contracts(sales contract, promissory note, etc), who do you recommend writing the check out to? Would it be the owner or to the Lending company? Please advise...Thanks! : Danny ============= Get a cashier's check made payable directly to the lender and referencing the loan number.
