: It's just a little too user friendly. We need a bit of chaos and inefficiency which --- helps to create opportunity.

my feeling exactly

also, at the auction that I attended, the cryer would increase the starting bid without anyone bidding

130k, 130k
140k, ok, I'm looking for 145k now
145k anyone? yes?
ok
145k
anyone giving me 150k?

Then it would go back to the bank. The entire time, no investor had signaled a bid.
