I've found an HOA collection attorney who extracts money from banks
that want to sell REO's by accusing the banks not doing proper
notification to other lien holders. Does the attorney really have
any legal power to hold up escrows? I thought the HOA liens junior
to forclosing liens got wiped off the property, and he really has
nothing that he can do to hold up the sale. But apparently he got
his way many times. Why the banks cave in?
