: Not an issue. You set your max bid, go to the sale and do your job. And you keep organized, follow through all the cancellations and persist. Time, effort and persistence always pay off. In one instance, I continued to follow up on a property and arrived at its next sale date only to find no one there but myself and the trustee. 5 minutes before the start of sale the lender called and dropped the opening bid by almost 20% (it was already a great deal). All I had to say was, "...and one penny more" and it was mine. Newbie... schnoobie... screw the "competition" and the "good old boys". It's persistence.
